Since gaining it's charter in 2004, the NFF's Joe Tiller Chapter of Northwest Indiana has had a primary goal of earning deserved recognition for area players and coaches. That includes "working the system" and influencing the selection process for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame and the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.
Consequently, six individuals with playing or coaching experience at Purdue have been chosen for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame and 34 individuals from the area known as Region 4 of the Indiana Football Coaches Association have been inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.
